Jack focuses on sourcing and evaluating direct investments in select drilling and recompletion projects for oil and natural gas resources. He leads the firm’s investment activities, including sourcing opportunities, technical and financial underwriting, transaction structuring, capital formation, and ongoing portfolio management.
Jack’s work centers on drilling and development projects, producing-property acquisitions, and other specialized opportunities in this sector of the energy industry. He evaluates prospective investments through an integrated review of petroleum geology, production forecasting, development costs, operating structure, title and ownership, transaction documents, and analysis of projected investor returns. Following closing, he oversees operator reporting, capital expenditures, production performance, revenue, distributions, and other matters affecting the investment and its investors.
His oil and gas advisory background includes valuation, asset advisory, and market intelligence. His professional background and experience allow him to evaluate opportunities from both technical and financial perspectives while identifying underlying risks.
